Planning Your Visit to
The Brooklyn Teacup’s
Studio Workshop

Welcome to The Brooklyn Teacup’s working studio, showroom and the garden level of my home in Park Slope, Brooklyn!

Here is where I store, create, assemble, market, ship and basically do all things related to The Brooklyn Teacup. By appointment, you are invited to shop and peruse my ever-changing inventory of vintage dinnerware, one-of-a-kind tiered stands and trays, and growing collection of upcycled jewelry and home accessories.

Mix and match your favorite plates, teacups and more to create the eclectic vintage tablescape of your dreams; or handpick several pieces and design bespoke gifts for everyone on your list.

Bring your own plates, bowls and cups to upcycle on the spot, choose pieces from my inventory, or some combination of the two! Everything you see in our online storefront is available in the studio—plus a whole lot more!

A few things to note...

Studio visits are by appointment only.
There is a $50 deposit to secure your appointment time. The deposit will be applied towards any purchase made during your visit. $100 minimum purchase is required.

GUEST POLICY::
  • Two guests per studio visit – feel free to bring one friend along!

LENGTH OF APPOINTMENT:
  • Appointments typically last between 30 minutes and 1 hour. If you are bringing items with you to upcycle or want to create pieces from my inventory, it will take on the longer side. If you do not want to wait for your items, we can make arrangements to have them shipped to you in the same week.

OUR ADDRESS:
  • The studio address is not listed publicly. You will receive the studio address following booking.
  • At the time of booking, I'll ask what patterns or styles you'd like to see. This allows me to prepare and gather items in advance to maximize your time. You might change your mind when you get here and that's totally OK.

SAFETY FIRST:

  • Only vaccinated customers are welcome to visit the studio. Until further notice, masks are also required during the visit. (We can't wait until our days of masking are behind us...)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can you ship purchases that I buy at the studio?

Yep! If you’re not in the mood to schlep home your purchases after your studio session, I’d be happy to ship it to you (or to the recipient of your choice)! Free shipping is included to one address for orders over $99 (just like when you shop in our online store).

Why do you take a deposit?

It takes time and effort to prepare the studio for each in-person shopping session. A deposit allows me to reserve your spot to make sure that you get the appropriate amount of time and attention, and covers costs in the event of no-shows or last minute cancellations.

What if I need to reschedule?

Life happens. Cancel with 48 hours + notice of your scheduled appointment, your deposit will be returned.

Within 48 hours, your deposit will be issued back to you as store credit.

If you are running plate, please let me know ASAP to see if I can accommodate.

Where do I park?

Depending on when you arrive, it can be challenging to find parking nearby. Within a short walking distance to the Barclay’s Center, our studio has many public transit options nearby and I highly encourage you to use one of them to avoid frustration.

If you choose to drive, there are some metered spots around.  Alternatively, you can use an app like Spothero to find discounted rates at parking garages nearby.

How do I pay?

The deposit is paid online using any major credit card, Paypal or Google Pay . You can pay the balance of your In Studio purchases the same way..

Can I bring my friends?

You are welcome to bring one other person with you to the studio..
