Meet: Rubber Bumpers
Once the center screw is installed, a previously flat plate can become subtly raised at the center point, which can make it unstable. Rubber bumpers, included in your hardware kit, restore stability while also protecting your surfaces from getting scratched.
These are called bumpons (also known as rubber feet or bumpers).
Before applying, thoroughly wash and fully dry your plate. Any dust, residue, or moisture can prevent proper adhesion.
For best results, apply four bumpons in a balanced North–South–East–West configuration, evenly spaced and positioned slightly inward from the rim.
